Remember I bought this book on 1 January 2013? Yea I finished it. Yeay me! How was it? It was awesome, I tell youu.
At first, I thought the story is ringan ringan je. Ye lah, the story of the maid keeping all the secrets of each family member, that is all. Towards the end, it become denser and denser (Heh? Denser eh perkataan yang sesuai?). Nemind. More question marks popped up, curiousity takes over, I need to finish the book quick. In the last chapter, all the questions are answered. Baru la macam, "Oh begitu rupanya kisah dia".
I really enjoy reading buku buku Fixi y'know. Including Mental, I have read 3 of them. Baru tiga :3 Tapi aku macam dah suka gila buku buku dia, nak start buat koleksi lah. At least now, I have a motive when I go to a bookstore. Jalan cerita buku Fixi semua real, tak macam novel novel Melayu lain, penuh dengan ayat berbunga and kisah cinta yang tak pasti kebenarannya, *geli seketika*. Jalan cerita pun lebih kurang sama, klise semua. Call me freak, tapi aku memang tak tahan baca cerita macam tu, bosan. Sehelai je dah boleh buat ubat tidur.
Bahasa buku Fixi pun santai, macam bahasa yang kita guna dalam kehidupan harian, so mungkin tak elok untuk adik adik yang ambik peperiksaan Bahasa Malaysia di sekolah. Ada jugak certain parts yang tak elok dibaca bebudak bawah umur, tapi dia tak la cerita detail macam English novel. Tapi cerita dia best, ending tak semestinya happy ending, macam Mental ni. Maya sakit semula on the last page. Real pun real, apa yang orang orang kaya sodok nak cover cerita pasal affairs, macamana lifestyle retis retis, kisah hidup Dato Dato yang buat business kotor.
Senang cerita, aku suka buku cerita indie cenggini. Thanks to Syahirah Amri a.k.a Cica for introducing them to me :) Okay. And next book will be, Murtad!
She said she want to take me to Pasar Seni since I haven't been there.
